How to Play Meccha Hunt

Meccha Hunt is a multiplayer camouflage game where you create a disguise by hand instead of automatically transforming into a prop. The main menu offers Normal, a classic hunt for 8 players, and Infected, a survival mode for 12 players. Select a mode, choose Play, and wait for matchmaking to place you in a round. When hiding, choose your position before painting. Study the dominant colors, shadows, lines, and nearby objects, then use the paint tools to match each visible part of your character to the background. Copy colors directly from the scene when possible, adjust the brush size for broad areas or small details, and choose a pose that makes your outline harder to recognize. When hunting, inspect suspicious surfaces from several angles. Look for mismatched shades, unnatural silhouettes, repeated body shapes, and colors that do not fit the surrounding lighting. Check obvious corners, but remember that a carefully painted player may be standing in plain sight. Use WASD to move and the mouse to look around. Press F to open the paint menu, paint with the Left Mouse Button, copy a nearby color with the Middle Mouse Button, and change the brush size with the Mouse Wheel. The game runs directly in the browser without a download.

Tips for Meccha Hunt

  • Choose a hiding spot before painting so you can match its exact colors and lighting.
  • Choose Normal for an 8-player classic hunt or Infected for a 12-player survival match.
  • Copy the dominant background color first, then add smaller shadow and detail colors.
  • Paint separate body parts when the background contains lines or more than one surface.
  • Rotate the camera and check your camouflage from several likely approach angles.
  • Choose a pose that breaks up your character's silhouette instead of standing upright.
  • As a Seeker, look for suspicious outlines and colors that do not match nearby lighting.
  • Do not inspect only corners; strong camouflage can hide a player in an open area.

Why We Recommend This Game

Meccha Hunt gives multiplayer hide-and-seek a creative twist by letting players paint their own camouflage. Its 8-player Normal hunt and 12-player Infected survival mode offer two distinct ways to use color, positioning, and observation.
