How to Play Redcoats.io

Redcoats.io is a browser-based 3D multiplayer first-person shooter set in the age of muskets and sailing warships. Join a large red-versus-blue battlefield as a Musketeer, Cavalryman, Cannoneer, or Sailor. Each role changes how you contribute: infantry advance and form firing lines, cavalry scout and flank, cannon crews attack from range, and sailors operate warships and naval guns. The war is decided by forts rather than individual eliminations alone. Open the map with M to find objectives, move with your team, and capture or defend the positions that control the battlefield. Muskets reward careful timing because every missed shot creates an opening. Use cover while reloading, aim before firing, and avoid crossing exposed ground without nearby teammates. Press F near highlighted interactive objects to mount a horse, board a ship, or operate equipment. Cannons can damage distant targets, while grapeshot is effective against grouped infantry at close range. On a ship, coordinate movement and gun crews so the vessel can support land objectives or fight opposing warships. Redcoats.io uses WebGL2 and is designed for modern desktop browsers. Chrome, Edge, and Brave provide the recommended experience. Click inside the embedded player before using the keyboard, and use fullscreen mode when you need a wider view of the battlefield.
