How to Play Short Life

Short Life is a physics-based ragdoll platform game built around compact, trap-filled obstacle courses. Choose a level and move toward the finish while protecting the character from timed hazards. Every collision affects the ragdoll, so a small mistake can make the rest of the route more difficult. Use the Left and Right Arrow keys for careful movement, the Up Arrow to jump, and the Down Arrow to crouch beneath hazards. Watch each trap complete a full cycle before advancing. Some obstacles activate when you approach, while others require a quick move as soon as a safe opening appears. The short levels make it practical to retry and learn each hazard's timing. Each level contains three collectible stars. They reward precise routes, but they are optional when a detour is too dangerous. First learn how to reach the finish reliably, then replay the level to collect any missed stars. Later stages introduce vehicles and combinations of moving mechanisms, so controlled taps are usually safer than holding a direction continuously.

• If an injury makes movement difficult, restart the level instead of forcing the character through the remaining traps.
• Pause before chained hazards so you do not enter the next trap at the wrong time.
