Play Tag online free with 2 to 4 players sharing one keyboard. Chase, dodge, use trampolines and teleporters, and pass the tag before time runs out.
How to Play Tag
Tag is a same-device multiplayer platform game for two to four players. Choose 2, 3, or 4 players, pick one of three maps, and use Game Settings to turn Buffs on or off and set a 60-, 120-, or 180-second round. Each player controls a different-colored runner on the same keyboard. One runner begins as the tagger. Touch another player to pass the tag to them, then move away before they can tag you back. When the countdown reaches zero, whichever player is still the tagger loses the round. Keep track of every runner so you know when the tag changes hands. Use platforms, trees, trampolines, and teleporters to create distance or cut off an opponent. Quick direction changes make your route harder to predict, while high platforms and shortcuts can help you escape. Tag has no computer-controlled opponents, so at least two people need to share the keyboard.
Game Controls
Player 1 (Red): W to jump; A and D to move Player 2 (Blue): Up Arrow to jump; Left and Right Arrows to move Player 3 (Yellow): I to jump; J and L to move Player 4 (Green): T to jump; F and H to move Esc: Pause
Tips for Tag
- Keep moving and change direction often so the tagger cannot predict your route.
- Use trampolines to reach high platforms quickly and force opponents to take a longer path.
- Enter a teleporter when the tagger gets close, but watch where the exit places you.
- When you become the tagger, cut across the map instead of following another player along the same route.
- Watch the countdown and take fewer risks near the end of a round if someone else is tagged.
Why We Recommend This Game
