How to Play Tank Stars

Tank Stars is a 2D turn-based artillery game built around choosing a weapon and finding the correct shooting angle before the opponent destroys your tank. Start each turn by checking the distance, elevation, and obstacles between the two vehicles. Select a weapon, move the aiming guide until its projected path reaches the target, and fire. If the shot lands short or flies over the enemy, use that impact as a reference and make a smaller correction on the next turn. The arsenal includes conventional rockets and more unusual attacks such as freezing bombs, tasers, railguns, plasma cannons, and nukes. Their trajectories and effects are not interchangeable: a direct rocket rewards precise aim, while a weapon with a wider or multi-part effect can be more forgiving when the target is partly covered. The battle ends when one tank loses all its health, so every missed turn gives the opponent another chance to answer.

Tips for Tank Stars

  • Treat the first shot as a range finder: note where it lands, then change the angle in a small step instead of making a completely new guess.
  • Check the selected weapon before aiming because rockets, freezing bombs, tasers, railguns, plasma cannons, and nukes do not behave the same way.
  • When the enemy is above you, start with a higher arc so the projectile has room to clear the slope or obstacle in front of your tank.
  • Use a precise, direct attack when the target is exposed; keep broader or unusual weapon effects for positions where a simple rocket is difficult to land.
  • Watch both health bars before choosing a risky shot—a reliable hit is usually better than wasting a turn on maximum damage that may miss.
  • On a touchscreen, drag the aiming control slowly and pause before releasing so a small finger movement does not change the final trajectory.

Why We Recommend This Game

Tank Stars makes each turn a short but readable artillery puzzle: choose one attack, estimate its arc, and live with the result. The weapon variety changes that decision in concrete ways, from straightforward rockets to freezing bombs, tasers, railguns, plasma cannons, and nukes. Because a miss reveals whether the angle was too high, too low, too short, or too long, even a failed shot gives useful information for the next turn. The combination of quick duels, oversized explosions, and visible aim correction creates a satisfying one-more-battle loop without requiring complicated controls.
